Job Description
We are looking for a Science Teacher for an
international school based in Guangzhou. This position is available from the upcoming 2026/27 academic year in August 2026.
About the school
Located in Baiyun District of Guangzhou, this international
school has four sections: early years, primary school, middle school and high
school. It provides both Cambridge International Curriculum and British Curriculum programs. The school campus is large, well-equipped with
classrooms, a Music and Dance area, a Library and Information Centre, an Art
room, laboratories, a soccer pitch and other recreational areas.
Job responsibilities
Teach the subject of science to secondary school students utilizing
the IGCSE/A-level framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experiencePreparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques,
designing and correcting assessments, and writing report commentsCollaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively
contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculumAssess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so
that all learners can succeed and improveProvide clear and constructive feedback to students and
their parents and caregiversDevelop supportive and safe learning environments
Job requirements
Bachelor degree or above in the related subjectTeaching certificateTwo or more years teaching experience in the subjectIGCSE/A-Level experience is essential
Salary and benefits
Monthly salary of 28,000 to 36,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualificationsHousing allowance of 4,000 RMBFlight reimbursementFull global medical insurance providedFully paid summer and winter holidaysNational holidaysChristmas holiday and spring holidayRelocation fee providedEducation for dependent childrenFinish contract bonus is 54,000 RMB
